Shakyamuni Buddha
Shakyamuni translates “Sage of the Shakya clan”, with Shakya referring to the clan Siddhartha was born into and Muni meaning “Enlightened One.”
This graceful Shakyamuni Buddha statue, a representation of Siddhartha Gautama (the original buddhist), is draped in flowing traditional robes with detailed embroidery, his right hand extended in an open palm while his left cradles a lotus flower. Standing tall on a rounded, knobbed base that adds an earthy, grounded touch, the figure also displays elongated earlobes — timeless symbols of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. Paired with the lotus, representing purity, faithfulness and spiritual awakening, this meaningful Buddha statue adds serenity and inspiration to any garden, meditation space or home. The easy on the eye earth tones are especially nice too, complimenting the weathered worn detail and texture.
