A statue of Saint Francis of Assisi is a popular figure to include in a garden, placed there to remind us of the importance of garden and nature. Saint Francis, taught that love of nature could lead us down a spiritual path of peace and love for plants, animals and people and was revered as the patron saints of animals and environment. This statue is designed holding a trusting bird in his left hand.
